Have you ever had those mornings when you just don’t want to get out of bed?
You know, when you’re lying there, staring at the ceiling, and you need to gather up the energy to start your day?
It’s like you’re feeling low or lacking motivation every morning.
Well, guess what?
I used to go through the same thing every single day. I’d wake up and feel so demotivated and down.
I’d think, “What’s the point of getting up? It’s just going to be the same old boring day with the same people and the same routine.”
To put it simply, I was disappointed with myself and my life.
Every day, I had to gather all my courage and energy to begin my day. And I have a feeling you might be going through the same thing right now.
If YES, then I want to share something interesting with you today.
I want you to think back to a moment in your childhood when your parents decided to take you on a trip or a vacation.
Remember how you had to wake up at 4 am in the morning to start the journey?
Did you need an alarm clock to wake up? Did you feel low or lacking motivation?
Absolutely not! You would wake up before the alarm even went off, and you’d have a hard time sleeping because of the excitement of the trip.
You see, every time we have something exciting to look forward to, it’s hard for us to fall asleep, and we wake up with so much energy and enthusiasm.
It’s because we have a PURPOSE.
Whether it’s a trip, a movie date with your crush, a job promotion, or achieving something significant, having a purpose makes waking up easy.
But why do we struggle to get up and start the day today?
It’s because we don’t have a clear purpose in our lives.
Purpose = The reason to do something.
When you wake up with excitement, it’s because you know something good is going to happen.
But when your mind knows there’s nothing to look forward to, you lack the energy to get up.
That’s why it’s crucial to understand that we need a purpose in our lives to truly live.
Think about it:
A lion wakes up with the purpose of finding prey.
A street dog wakes up with the purpose of finding food.
Even a tree wakes up with the purpose of providing oxygen.
Elon Musk wakes up with the purpose of creating something that can change the world.
Everyone has a purpose, and without one, we’re just bodies without souls.
Now, I can’t give you a purpose for your life, but I can give you a simple task to energize your mornings.
Think of something you absolutely love doing and plan to do it tomorrow.
Before you go to sleep, just think about that one thing you’re going to do. Nothing else. And notice how energized and happy you feel when you wake up.
Every day, I go to sleep with a task in mind that I plan to do the next day. I make it so exciting that I fall asleep thinking about it and wake up ready to tackle it. Trust me, it makes a difference.
I’m not an expert or anything, and I don’t have all the answers. But since you’re my favorite audience, I wanted to share what’s been working for me in the hopes that it might work for you too.
So, go ahead and do the task I gave you today, and pay attention to how your morning feels tomorrow.
If it made you feel energized and happy, just comment with “I FEEL ENERGIZED.”
Take care, and I’ll catch you in the next one!
